39x10 HarleyCC Floorplan

Our new Harley 39x10 Center Console Kevlar Diesel. This exciting fast Center Console achieves remarkable efficiency and speeds due to several factors. At 3 miles per gallon at cruise speed, we are typically 300% the efficiency of the outboard center consoles in this size range, and about 200% (or better) the efficiency of the similar diesel boats in this size range. The vessel is much stronger and tougher than its fiberglass counterparts. In this website you will see pictures and testimonies about several Harley Kevlar boats that were in high speed accidents, 45- 50 mph, some into immoveable objects! No fiberglass vessel could survive accidents like these even close to the way the Harley vessels did due to their great strength, design and the materials we use.

The Harley 39 derives its unmatched high fuel efficiency, plus its high top speed high cruise speeds, from our unique combination of:

1. Lightweight of Kevlar/Airlite/Vinylestor Vacuum Infusion Construction
2. Stepped Bottom, with tow test developed optimum step and hull for a boat
of this design and in this speed range and weight
3. Lightweight, compact, low profile, fuel efficient diesels, the boat requires
Much smaller diesel power than other boats its size
4. Surface Drives, trimable & steerable, and fully hidden by swim platform

The above unique combination is a marriage made in heaven, combining for. performance and efficiency never before possible in a 39’x10’ Center Console.

The engines are fully beneath the floor, just immediately aft of the leaning post as you see in the photos, and transmissions are about 5 feet forward of the transom, There is a large hatch above the engines, giving generous access to any point on the engines.

The Surface Drives are Harley's unique patent pending trimable and steerable surface drives. The Harley Surface Drive has all of its cylinders for steering and trim of each drive fully inside the vessel. No need to pull the boat from the water to service steering and trim cylinders. The Harley Surface Drive is much simpler and lighter than all other articulating drives. Simpler means less to go wrong, less to need service, lighter weight than other trimable surface drives, all further enhancing the efficiency of the vessel. Surface drives are the fastest and most efficient drives of any drive choice in the world. Our Harley drives are by far the best in the world for your application. The drives alone are quite exciting.

Standard power is twin 320hp Diesels by Toyota, same block as purchased by Yanmar, but this one is all Toyota. Marinization is done by Nanni Diesel. Optional engines include Yanmars or Cummins. The Toyota Nanni Diesels will reach 65 mph top on the open CC, and cruise up to 60 mph. The MiniCuddy performance is essentially the same. And the Full Forward Cabin will be only about 3-4 mph less in both top and cruise speeds, still extremely fast and efficient. Also available are the Yanmar 315. And the Cummins 350HP. The largest available engines are twin Cummins QSB 5.9L 480hp. Two of these will push the Harley 39x10 up to a blazing 75 MPH!  Cruise speed will be up to mid to upper 60s! Talk about a tournament winner!

The 39CC has four fishboxes forward, including a giant centerline underfloor fishbox, and two fishboxes aft, and twin baitwells aft on the transom, with optional pressurization or refrigeration. Optional custom arrangements available.

The 39 Harley CC is easily towable at highway speeds with an F-250 as well as F-350 and similar sized SUVs. For short local towing, even an F-150 will pull the vessel locally.  With an F-250 or larger or similar SUV, it is very practical to pull the vessel from state to state for tournament competition.

The Cabin version of the Center Console 39 is a very generous cabin. It has a large king V-berth forward, the couch on the portside has a backrest which folds up to make 3rd and 4th beds as bunk beds, and the large galley has a microwave, refrigerator freezer, cook top, counter space, sink & water, and abundant storage space. Also there is an optional entertainment center, with flatscreen TV. Air-conditioning and separate diesel genset can also be done. Also we offer a 12 volt air-conditioning as well, not requiring a generator, and we even have an engine driven genset option for AC 110v air conditioning that runs with one of the diesel engines at idle. The cabin is luxuriously appointed. The head and shower are in the Center Console, just a step away from the cabin.

The first new 2008 39x10 Harley Diesel Center Console is under construction now. We have built Express Sportyachts that are heavier than the Center Console version, from this same hull mold, and have seen speeds of 60 MPH from the Express Sportyacht version with twin 330hp 454s. This further confirms the 65 MPH top speeds from the lighter 320hp Center Console version.

Our website also has photos of other Harley Boats that we have built over the years. Our 42x10 Superstar has been one of our best sellers. Also enclosed are pictures of our 54x14 Harley Sport yacht. Our sister company under same ownership, Harley Shipbuilding Corporation, has built commercial and military high speed vessels up to 100' long. For more info on these, see www.harleyshipbuilding.net  And another sister company under same ownership, NV Boats Inc, builds a great flats boat with an inverted-V bottom, pictures enclosed. For further info on this boat, see www.nvboatsinc.com.

Coming next at Harley Boat Corporation after the 39 Center Console, is our new 50x12 Center Console. This boat is still light enough to be tailored with an F-350 dually or F-450, and the 12' beam allows year long overwide permit for easy towing! This 50x12 CC with twin Cummins QSB 480HP 5.9L will reach up to 60 mph top! And up to 65 MPH with twin 600hp QSC 8.3L Cummins! This is a 46'x12' Kevlar hull with 4' swim platform covering surface drives, making for 50' overall length with 12' beam.

The lighter weight of the Harley 39x10 gives the vessel a softer ride and a pronounced dryer ride than its heavier fiberglass counterparts. Once you pass 26' in boat length, lightweight helps a vessels ride, as it becomes long enough to catch several waves at one time, and bridge over them, rather than plow through them. And also if you are going more over the water rather than through it, you are naturally displacing less water hence making a dryer ride. Also improved are beaching and tailoring, as well as shallow water operations and improved safety.

In summary, the Harley 39 derives its unmatched high fuel efficiency and also its high top speed and high cruise speeds, from our unique combination of: the lighter weight of the Kevlar/Airlite-foam/Infusion-Vinylestor-resin construction, also the stepped bottom, also the surface piercing drives fully hidden by the swim platform, and the smaller lighter diesels.

We invite you to call us, and also to visit our factory, and have the opportunity to see all the exciting things we are doing. We believe you will share our excitement for this revolutionary new, very fast, remarkably efficient, sleek, and easily trailerable vessel. This is the first vessel in its class to combine high speed with very high fuel efficiency and economy. All of this combined with a very soft and dry ride from the deep V hull, put the Harley 39x10 Center Console in a class all by itself.

Durability & Strength of the Harley Advanced Composite

The photos below show a Harley 27' boat that hit a channel marker head on at night at 50 mph! This vessel came to an instantaneous stop as if it had hit a brick wall. While everyone on board was knocked out and they all were bloodied and bruised from head to foot, no one had any serious injuries. When they came to, they drove the boat home under its own power. The owner wrote us a beautiful letter, stating that the strength of our composite process (combination of Kevlar, E-glass, LinearFoam, advanced epoxy) literally saved his life and his friends life. He stated that he has seen numerous other boats (made of fiberglass) that have hit those same channel markers at night, and usually the engines end up wrapped around the marker, the boat in many pieces with dead bodies in the water

45 MPH Crash

Harley 42'x10' Sport YachtKevlar/E-glass/LinearFoam/Epoxy Construction

This vessel was driven up on the rocks at night off the coast of Vero Beach, at 45 mph, and came to almost an instantaneous stop, less than one second. The operator’s face was very bloodied. The keel of the boat was six feet out of the water.

The next day the insurance company brought a barge and a crane to lift and load the vessel, but when they got it up in the air, they looked at the bottom, and carefully inspected and determined that it was not broken, but only scratched and scathed, and after pushing on the bottom, they determined it was safe to drive home under its own power! The vessel was driven a significant distance home on its own bottom and its own power! The damage was very minimal, only a few thousand dollars of damage to the boat.

Most fiberglass (and aluminum) boats that crash into rocks like this are generally totaled. For a fiberglass or aluminum vessel to not total in a crash such as this at high speed would be almost unheard of. And for a fiberglass or aluminum hull to have only minimal, very light damage in a crash like this would be completely unheard of.

Highspeed Highway CrashTrailer Completely Destroyed

New Picture (3)

Harley 42'x10' Sport YachtKevlar/E-glass/LinearFoam/Epoxy

The above Harley 42' vessel came off of its trailer in a high speed traffic accident on the highway. The boat literally destroyed the trailer, there wasn’t much left of the trailer, but the boat had only cosmetic damage. While the trooper estimated $80,000 damage to the boat at the scene of the accident, the actual damage to the boat was only $1,400 and was entirely cosmetic damage

Had this vessel been conventional fiberglass or had it been aluminum construction, the fiberglass or aluminum version would have been at least greatly damaged, if not totaled. Also note that this vessel is not only far stronger but is also much lighter (40% lighter as a finished vessel) than its comparable fiberglass counterpart. Fiberglass or aluminum construction would not have had any chance of crumpling and destroying the trailer and surviving this accident with only incidental damage.
